Joseph Kreimer is a retired professor in the Department. of Industrial Engineering and Management at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, Israel, and he has long been involved in research activities at Israel Aircraft Industries. He received M.Sc in Mathematics from Moscow State University and D.Sc in Operations Research from Technion Haifa. His research includes optimization, sensitivity and effectiveness analysis of real-time systems and discrete event systems, efficient Monte Carlo simulation algorithms, non-smooth optimization and stochastic approximation.

He publishes in such journals as Operations Research, Annals of Operations Research, Computers and Operations Research, European Journal of Operations Research, Journal of Operational Research Society, SIAM Journal on Numerical Analysis, Mathematical and Computer Modeling, Mathematics and Computers in Simulation, IEEE Transactions on Reliability, Communications in Dependability and Quality Management, Computer Modelling and New Technologies, Journal of Computer and Communications.
